About FITA
FITA, a division of Public Health Solutions, strengthens nonprofit organizations through workshops, forums, training and one-to-one consultations in fiscal management, board development, strategic planning and other key areas. Established in 1993 to meet the needs of HIV/AIDS organizations, FITA provides an increasingly broad array of services tailored to the needs of its organizational clients. FITA's services are generally free to NYC HIV/AIDS organizations, and available on a fee-basis to other nonprofit organizations.
About Public Health Solutions
Public Health Solutions is dedicated to researching, developing, and managing innovative health and social service programs in response to public health needs. Founded in 1957, Public Health Solutions (formerly MHRA) works with a wide array of government and private partners to address some of the city's most serious and urgent public health challenges and, with its community-based "safety net" services, reaches nearly 200,000 adults, children and families each year. Public Health Solutions has a special ability to link the research it conducts to the services it provides — utilizing New York City's diverse neighborhoods as settings to develop, implement, and evaluate groundbreaking initiatives.
